Hi all, long time since I have posted on here. Still a few regular names I remember from a few years ago.

May Hill Huntley Scout Group have just signed up for a new fundraising page with easyfundraising. It is a web-store that links together over 2000 online retailers, paying out a commission rate of up to 15% of each sale to the charity that people choose to support.

I have tried several of these type of "web-stores" in the past, but this one really seems to work. We're up to about £20 so far, with only a few active users.

They also offer a internet search engine page which raises funds through every search made. They also run regular competitions where users and their supported charity can win bonus money. The Christmas competition of £1500 was won by a Scout Group in Bristol.

Please take a look at http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/referral/34021 and sign up to start raising funds for your Group.

Signing up through our unique link, above, helps our fundraising as well as your own, so please take a look and see if it can work for your Group.

All money raised from this page will help go towards the refurbishment of our headquarters. £20 isn't going to go far, but it is fundraising with no expense to the Group and everything is clear profit. A little publicity, and this can easily grow.

Ditto I signed up on behalf of my group before christmas and clocked up
about £17 buying xmas pressies online.
When we roll it out next year even if we get £3 per family on average at
christmas that still accounts for a nice slice of cash.
My new car insurance (check for lowest on comparison sites then go to
insurer via the easyfundraising site) nette £17.50.
House insurance is due soon and I am sniffing about for utility providers
too.
I reckon I can hit £50 without doing anything different except clicking
through.

Even my many Ebay purchases net a donation.

It was nice to see the various scouting winners of the christmas draw and
the winner of the main prize (£1500 for the peron and £1500 for the charity)
was a jamboree unit.
