My apologies for disturbing all the slumbering denizens of urs ... bad
form I know :-(
But just out of curiosity can anyone tell me if there is much of a
market (and even perhaps where it is) for old Scouting bits and pieces.
I've come into possession of some ancient clothing items : big hats
(including one owned by Jack Beet of Gang Show fame) shirts with strange
badges, belts with 'blackout' buckles.
I've also got loads of paper ephemera going back to the 1930s and
earlier - flyers for events, Jamboree programmes, 'Boy Scout' programmes
and so on. I've even got a Dinizulu bead on a Gilwell Wood Badge ...
none of the local Scouts I've talked to have even heard of Dinizulu!
Well there you go, as I said I'm sorry If I woke you up, but now that's
something to get your teeth into along with the Horlicks and Bath
Olivers ;^)
