To those who continue to support Scouting...

...while remaining silent on the narrow-minded bigotry toward various
groups (atheists, homosexuals, etc) present in Scouting organizations...
there is a time to stand and be counted, and that time is now. (It was
yesterday, but you chose not to act... and the day before, but again you
chose not to act... etc.)

"All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do
nothing." -- famous quote, source not certain. It rings very, very
true... particularly in this case.

Ostracizing children because of their beliefs is reprehensible. Anyone
who willingly participates in organizations which have policies
enabling, encouraging, and for that matter codifying such shunning is
part of the problem, and there is no excuse for that.

These people get it, and represent the ideals and values taught within
Scouting far better than the fossils responsible for perpetuating hate:

It’s just some idiot who has difficultly with the concept that the UK is not
one of the states of the USA and that we are not part of Boy Scouts of
America.

I don't think it's nice to call Tony Blair an idiot, sir.

I presume you posted this because you are for allowing Sanduskys to be
Scout leaders.

What scum you are wanting to allow that sort of thing.

Sounds intolerant. Do you propose shunning them for their beliefs?
