New discoveries show that Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts, beginning as
early as
1907, influenced the use of the Nazi salute and the swastika symbol
worldwide. As a consequence, the swastika and the stiff-arm salute
became
symbols of socialism around the world.
http://rexcurry.net/pledge-of-allegiance-scouting.html

The discoveries are in the growing body of work by the historian Dr.
Rex
Curry (author of "Swastika Secrets") who has previously shown how
socialists
in the USA originated the modern swastika as overlapping "S" letters
for
"Socialists" joining together in a utopian "Socialist Society." The
swastika symbol had previously been a generic ancient symbol.

Graduates/victims of government schools may find it hard to believe:
scouts
used the swastika, the straight-arm gesture, robotic chanting, and
uniform
dress, and they did it all decades before the same was done under the
National Socialist German Workers' Party. The USA was the origin of
that
behavior under German National Socialism (where the salute was
shamelessly
stolen from the US). Photograph at

During the time when Scouts adopted the swastika, the symbol was
associated
in the USA with the growing popularity of paramilitarism and "military
socialism," a dogma touted by Edward Bellamy, the American author of
the
international bestseller "Looking Backward," (1887) known as the bible
of
National Socialism.

The symbol was also famous in the USA as alphabetical symbolism for
socialism in the Theosophical Society (TS), from 1875.
http://rexcurry.net/theosophy-madame-blavatsky-theosophical-society.html

In 1888, the Theosophical Society teamed up with Bellamy's Nationalist
movement for military socialism. The Bellamy swastika spread.

By 1915, the symbol was also widely popular as an ornamental "Good
Luck"
symbol, as in a 1915 postcard showing the American flag posed
favorably with
a swastika. Loading Image...

For more information on the swastika as alphabetical symbolism see
http://rexcurry.net/swastika-hakenkreuz.html

The swastika was also adopted by American soldiers in the 45th
Infantry
Division and in the Escadrille Lafayette Americaine during World War I
and
adorned American soldiers' shoulder patches, flags and planes used in
the
fight against Germany.
http://rexcurry.net/45th-infantry-division-swastika-sooner-soldiers.html

In 1921, the swastika's meshed "S" letters acquired the alphabetic
symbolism
of "Scout Submission" in scouting along with the concept of self-
sacrifice
(even the ultimate self-sacrifice) because it represented a cross. It
is
important to note that the Nazis did not call their symbol a
"swastika," but
called it a "Hakenkreuz," which means "hooked cross" because it was a
type
of cross. That also tied the scout swastika into the Bellamy dogma
which was
also known as "Christian Socialism."

Scout founder Robert Baden-Powell wrote "The Swastika" in "What Scouts
Can
Do: More Yarns in 1921" and attempted to give the swastika an
etymological
meaning that is different from the other popular idea that it the
symbol
meant "well being" or "good luck." According to Baden-Powell's first
comments, the swastika meant "Obedience or Submission, the different
arms of
the cross being in reality legs in the attitude of kneeling." Thus,
Baden-Powell also recognizes the swastika as a type of cross with
religious
significance. Baden-Powell also mentioned in passing Norsemen,
Greeks, and
myths about Atlantis.

The swastika was also popular among Girl Scouts via a magazine called
"The
Swastika" (1914-1918) that stated on each cover "Written, Issued and
Read by
THE GIRLS' CLUB." Each cover was also adorned with two swastikas in
the
S-letter orientation. The October 14, 1914 cover shows a swastika
flag. The
February 1916 cover shows a girl wearing a hat adorned with a
swastika. The
membership pin for the Girls' Club was a swastika.

The Girl Scouts program began in 1912 and was founded by Juliette
Gordon Low
in 1912 and based on the Scouting principles developed by Baden-
Powell.

Wikipedia is spreading the news about Dr. Curry's discoveries. Recent

Curry's research and discoveries on Wikipedia. Even Wikipedia founder

"Jimbo" Wales has publicly noted Dr. Curry's influence on Wikipedia.

to
bolster their own credibility.

The Boy Scouts of America (BSA) is a United States Scouting
organization,
with some presence in other countries. The BSA is the largest youth
organization in the United States; over one hundred million Americans
have
been members. Founded in the USA in 1910, the movement had a
registered
membership of 2,938,698 youth with 1,146,130 leaders in 122,582 units
as of
the end of 2005.

The BSA sprang from the concerns of the socialist movement in the
United
States. It was a concern that grew from the military socialism of
Francis
Bellamy and Edward Bellamy. The BSA adheres to the Scout method to
teach
values such as patriotism, citizenship, and outdoorsmanship through a
variety of activities, including outdoor activities.

The BSA utilizes uniforms and advancement in rank similar to the
military.
The BSA operates through units such as troops, packs, and crews.

The socialist movement in the United States was at its height during
the
early twentieth century. Socialists were concerned that young men had
too
much individualism and were not learning patriotism, citizenship, and
self-sacrifice. The Young Mens Christian Association (YMCA) was an
early
promoter. Baden-Powell started Scouting in 1907 and the movement began
to
grow.

In 1909, Chicago publisher W. D. Boyce was visiting London, England
where he
learned of the Scouting movement. Upon his return to the US, Boyce
incorporated the Boy Scouts of America on February 8, 1910. The YMCA
became
interested in the nascent BSA program and provided support.

The Pledge of Allegiance salute was adopted in scouting as shown in
1934
photos. A further description is below.
Photograph at Loading Image...

The original Pledge of Allegiance was created in 1892. The early
Pledge of
Allegiance used a straight-arm salute that was the origin of the
salute used
later by the horrid National Socialist German Workers' Party. The USA
was
the origin of the Nazi salute, robotic group-chanting to flags,
Nazism, flag
fetishism, and the modern swastika as "S" symbolism for "Socialism,"
as
shown in they research of the noted historian Dr. Rex Curry.

The original first printing of the Boy's Cubbook in 1930 still showed
the
use of the stiff-arm salutes by Scouts.
Loading Image...

This printing was recalled after release by BSA to change to the Cub
Scout
salute (on page 23). The reason is found in the History of Cub
Scouting,
published by BSA in 1987. This is a quote from page 13: "The Boy's
Cubbook
for Wolf rank was published while the first packs were being chartered
in
April 1930. It was quickly revised to change the Cub salute. In the
original edition, the salute was the Indian sign for peace, with right
arm
upraised, palm out. Apparently leaders saw that the salute was
disconceertingly similar to the Nazi salute of Adolf Hitler, who was
beginning his rise to power in Germany enroute to engulfing the world
in
war. The new salute was the familar two-fingered touch of the right
hand to
the forehead." The 1987 explanation is almost as inaccurate as the
original
1930 book in repeating the American-Indian myth, and showing complete
ignorance of the use of the gesture in the early Pledge of Allegiance.
Loading Image...

BSA destroyed whatever original printings they had.

Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts still use a remnant of the early Pledge of
Allegiance. Scouts use a military-style salute that developed from
the
initial military salute of the Pledge. A stereotypical Scout website
states
that scouts should memorize the pledge, that the "denner" (den leader)
should lead the group in the pledge at meetings, and the web site
mimics
government schools by providing the usual shallow propaganda about
Francis
Bellamy and the Pledge

The original pledge began with a military salute that then stretched
out
toward the flag. In actual use, the second part of the gesture was
performed
with a straight arm and palm down by children casually performing the
forced
ritual chanting. Professor Curry showed that, due to the way that
both
gestures were used sequentially in the pledge, the military salute led
to
the Nazi salute. The Nazi salute is an extended military salute via
the
USA's pledge.

Francis Bellamy (author of the "Pledge of Allegiance") and Edward
Bellamy
(author of the novel "Looking Backward") and Charles Bellamy (author
of "A
Moment of Madness") and Frederick Bellamy (who introduced Edward to
socialistic "Fourierism") were socialists. Edward, Charles and
Frederick
were brothers, and Francis was their cousin. Francis and Edward were
both
self-proclaimed National Socialists and they supported the
"Nationalism"
movement in the USA, the "Nationalist" magazine, and the "Nationalist
Educational Association." Edward inspired the "Nationalist Party" (in
the
USA) and their dogma influenced socialists worldwide (including
Germany) via
"Nationalist Clubs." They touted their dogma of "military socialism"
and the
"industrial army" because they wanted all of society to ape the
military.

This may be hard to believe for graduates/victims of government
schools:
Americans wore swastika shoulder patches and used the striaght-arm
gesture,
all before the same was done under the National Socialist German
Workers'
Party. The USA was the origin of that behavior under German National
Socialism.

It is worth noting that Americans still use the greeting "hello" as
they did
then, and it is related to the German greeting "Heil" and thus to
"Heil
Hitler." The term "hello" is used for hailing people and is related
to the
phrase "Hail to the chief," and to these words: hail, heal, health. It
is
also related to the term "salud," meaning "health," and thus to the
term
"salute" and the act of saluting, which included the manner of saying
"hello."

The straight-arm gesture had been spread in the USA by the
government's
takeover of schools. Laws had been imposed that required children in
government schools (socialist schools) in the USA to robotically chant
the
Pledge with the stiff-arm salute.
http://rexcurry.net/book1a1contents-pledge.html

Francis Bellamy created the pledge to the USA's flag (1892). The early
Pledge began with a military salute that then extended out toward the
flag
into a straight-arm salute.

Francis Bellamy was cousin and cohort to Edward Bellamy, author of the
bible
of National Socialism "Looking Backward" (1888) an international
bestseller.
Edward Bellamy's National Socialism movement teamed up with H. P.
Blavatsky's Theosophical Society to spread the dogma worldwide.
Blavatsky
and the Theosophical Society used the swastika as alphabetic symbolism
for
their utopian "socialist society."

The Bellamy swastika and Bellamy salute spread globally.

Both Bellamys were self-proclaimed socialists in the nationalism
movement in
the USA, and they called their dogma "military socialism." They
wanted all
of society to ape the military and they wanted the government to take
over
all schools in order to create their "industrial army" and spread
their
dogma through children.

It is important to remember that the above history would not have been
unknown to people associated with the 45th Infantry when the swastika
was
adopted as its symbol, nor to other Americans who viewed the 45th
Infantry's
new symbol.

The USA influenced the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, the
National
Socialist German Workers' Party, and the Peoples' Republic of China in
their
flag fetishism, civilian salutes, military socialism, the use of
government
schools (socialist schools), and robotic chanting in worship of
government
and government officials.

The USA originated Nazi salutes, flag fetishism, Nazism, robotic
group-chanting to flags, and the modern swastika symbol, as shown in
the
research of the noted historian Dr. Rex Curry. Amazing graphic images
that
prove the point are linked at
http://rexcurry.net/theosophy-madame-blavatsky-theosophical-society.html

Both the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics and the National
Socialist
German Workers' Party followed the socialist trend in the USA in using
the
swastika as a symbol for socialism.
http://rexcurry.net/book1a1contents-swastika.html

It all resulted in the socialist Wholecaust (of which the Holocaust
was a
part): 65 million slaughtered under the Union of Soviet Socialist
Republics;
49 million under the Peoples' Republic of China; 21 million under the
National Socialist German Workers' Party. The socialist Wholecaust
was the
worst loss of human life in history.

The USA is still the worst example in the world of bizarre laws that
require
robotic chanting to a national flag in government schools (socialist
schools) every day for 12 years. It has changed generations of
Americans
from libertarians to authoritarians. The government bamboozled
individuals
into believing that robotic group-chanting in government schools is a
beautiful expression of freedom. Frightening photographs are at

I think you will find that they are a merkin, and that the phrase
"forgive him Cesear he is but a barbarian and mistakes the habits of his
tribe for the laws of nature"

As a point of interest the "Bellamy salute " was the traditional merkin
technique before the 40's and that was akin to the salute used in
fascism, first by Mussolinis supporters and then adopted in Germany.
Being great followers of fashion the merkins hurriedly dropped that
salute for some reason during the 40's.

The "research" done by Dr. Rex Curry must have taken all of about two
hourse,110 minutes of which was to twist what he found ( in the first
ten minutes) to match his wants. The later sock puppet was funny though!

marc initial.surname @ btinternet.com is a sock puppet and a merkin. He is
so ignorant that he does not know (until he was edumacated here) that the
"Bellamy salute " began in 1892 as the salute of the USA's Pledge of
Allegiance, long before the National Socialist German Workers' Party, long
before Mussolini became a socialist leader in the 1920's and 1930's, long
before Mussolini worked with the German Socialists, and long before the year

I find it curious that there is no mention that I can see in any of the
publications that have been cited, that the swastika is actually
thousands of years old. The name comes from Sanskrit - 'svastika', which
symbolises good luck or rebirth. I have seen it myself, carved in the
stonework of a mosque in North Africa although it appears to be Hindu in
origin. The version adopted by Hitler is a mirror image (i.e. gives the
appearance of a left-hand or ant-clockwise rotation).

Rudyard Kipling used it extensively on the dust jacket of his books,
which is probably where Baden Powell got it for his original Medal of
Merit, although it was removed in the 1930's when the Nazis hijacked it.

I agree, these things get overlooked by Americans to whom we have to
be grateful for re-wrting history in eay to read weekly parts,
replacing anybody who did a good thing with an american actor and
anything bad with a british one.

Compared to them the Nazis were a breath of fresh air, at least they
made no secrets of the racial hatred and bigotry and didn't hide it
behind the flag of "freedom"

You are correct that most publications that have been cited do not
mention that the swastika is actually thousands of years old, although
the historian Dr. Rex Curry covers that point extensively.

The name comes from Sanskrit - 'svastika', and is often translated as
good luck or rebirth. It is important to remember that that word was
not the word used for the symbol by German socialists. Also, Professor
Curry has pointed out that the sanskrit term did not merely mean "good
luck" as is often said, but was an ancient reference to India's
history of "noble" classes of people ruling the lower castes. Or to
put it another way, the symbol meant that it was "good luck" for
people who were in a high caste and not the low class.

The version adopted by Hitler is sometimes described as a mirror image
(i.e. gives the appearance of a left-hand or ant-clockwise rotation) a
the better description is that it is turned 45 degrees to the
horizontal (to highlight the S-letter) and oriented in the S-direction
for "socialism" under his National Socialist German Workers' Party.

Rudyard Kipling used one extensively on dust jackets of his books, and
it was used by Baden Powell for his original Medal of Merit, though
both of those were flat on one side, as if drawn within a square, and
Kiplings was Z-oriented.

Tthe Swastika in Buddhism, Buddhist shrines, and other
places in Asia can have the arms point left or right, and that was the
case
historically. What is unique about the symbol of the National
Socialist
German Workers' Party is that it is squared on the arms/corners, but
it was
eventually turned 45 degrees to the horizontal (to highlight the S-
shape)
and always pointed in the S-direction (not the Z-direction) because
they
used it sometimes to symbolize meshed S-letters for "Socialism" under
the
National Socialist German Workers' Party (e.g. on their main flag).
The rune
comment is correct, because the German Socialists also used it to
resemble
the rune that corresponds to the S-letter, as they also did for the
S.S.
Division with its alphabetical meaning. Similar alphabetical symbolism
can
still be seen every day on Volkswagens, as the swastika-style VW
logo /
emblem (using meshed letters). Those are all discoveries of the noted
historian Dr. Rex Curry (author of "Swastika Secrets")
http://rexcurry.net/book1a1contents-swastika.html

Don't fall for common errors. Remember, the "Nazis" did not call
themselves
"Nazis." They also did not call their symbol a "swastika." They used
a
word that classified their symbol as a type of cross.

you might enjoy the following -

Many people overuse the word "Nazi" because they do not know the actual name
of the group: the National Socialist German Workers Party (NSGWP). Other
people overuse the shorthand term to deliberately cover-up the group's
actual name, in order to rehabilitate socialism. Most people do not know
that "Nazis" did not call themselves "Nazis" (they called themselves
socialists). The same people are unaware that German socialists did not call
their symbol a "swastika." They perpetuate two more myths: (1) That the
swastika, as an ancient symbol and as a Sanskrit word, represented the
opposite of German socialism; (2) That "Aryan," from the ancient Sanskrit
concept, retained no conceptual relevance for German socialists.
http://rexcurry.net/swastika.html

The ancient term "swastika" is often translated as "good luck" or "well
being" or "auspicious." The symbologist and etymologist Dr. Rex Curry has
pointed out that the Sanskrit concept of "good luck" fit the National
Socialist view (and every socialist's view, even today) of socialism.

"Swastika" and "Aryan" were conceptually related in Sanskrit, long before
the NSGWP existed. People who oversimplify "swastika" as "good luck" also
oversimplify the word "Aryan." In Sanskrit, "Swastika" had a similar meaning
to the word "Aryan," because both included the sense of "fortunate" or
"favored" as in a favored person, who belonged to a fortunate caste, class,
or race. "Aryan" is probably related to the aristoi, the "most noble," of
Greece (Aristotle, aristocracy, aristocrat). The related concept of "arch"
creates nouns that signify people and groups having authority over others of
their class (archbishop; archdiocese; archangel; archenemy, archrival) or
"exemplary" (archetype). Aryan probably included "accomplished, skillful."
The original meaning of the root, pertaining to "skillful assembly" or
"union" might be seen in Latin ars "art," and "architect" and ordo
("order"). The term "Aryan" is related to the word "Iranian" (Iran or
Persia).

Professor Curry has shown that the Sanskrit term "swastika" did not merely
mean "good luck" in the modern sense, as is often said. For the higher
classes (and for those who dreamed or aspired) the symbol meant that it was
"good luck" to be in a high caste / race (read that as "Aryan class") and
not the low class / race. In that way, the sanskrit concept is not
dis-similar from the German Socialist use.
http://rexcurry.net/book1a1contents-swastika.html

It is often said that German National Socialists altered (and ruined) the
"good luck" meaning of the symbol from its history in India and Asia. That
leaves a lot out of the complete story.

If swastikas had any "Aryan" etymology in the minds of German socialists, it
was a common dictionary's second meaning: "noble" or "high rank." They used
it to mean a "master race" or "noble class" or "ruling class." The swastika
became an emblem for the cockamamy "super socialist man."
http://rexcurry.net/george-bernard-shaw-superman-socialist-swastika-socialism.html

The swastika was sometimes used as alphabetical symbolism of overlapping
S-letters for "socialism" under the National Socialist German Workers Party.
It was turned 45 degrees to the horizontal (to highlight the S-letter) and
oriented in the S-direction.
Loading Image...

In that way, the swastika did not change from a good-luck symbol for German
socialists and their admirers. But for some of the world, the symbol became
a bad-luck symbol for "socialism."

It is also consistent with India's historic socialism and, as a cosequence,
its historic levels of poverty and misery.

It is consistent with the dogma of a mystical India-Germany promoter of
National Socialism known as Savitri Devi. Known as the "Aryan Hindu
prophetess," she authored a lengthy examination of the Hindu theory of
cyclical history that included Hitler was an avatar or god come to earth.
Born Maximiani Portas, she became a strong admirer of Hitler in the 1920s,
moved to India in 1932 because of its caste segregation system, and took a
Hindu name. Later, her writings were republished, and she gained new fans in
the 1970s as new interest in National Socialism spread. Devi died in 1982,
but the author boasted that her combination of Hindu religion and Nordic
racial ideology became a bridge between National Socialism and the New Age
movements. It was not the culture of India that drew Devi, but her belief
that India represented the best of racial segregation. Once in India, she
became interested in Hinduism and wed the Brahman A.K. Mukherji in a
marriage of shared ideals that also happened to bolster her shaky legal
status as a resident sympathizer with German National Socialism.

And there are older consistencies with the dogma of another mystical
India-Germany promoter of National Socialism known as Madam Blavatsky of the
Theosophical Society (established 1875 in New York). In 1888, Blavatsky's
group joined with the American National Socialist Edward Bellamy and his
Bellamy Clubs (Nationalist Clubs) to work for socialism. Edward Bellamy was
the author of "Looking Backward" (1888) an international bestseller known as
the bible of National Socialism, and translated into every major language
(including German, Russian and Chinese). Edward Bellamy was cousin to
Francis Bellamy, author of the "Pledge of Allegiance" (1892) the origin of
the stiff-arm salute (the early salute to the Pledge), later adopted by the
National Socialist German Workers Party.
Loading Image...

During the time that the American National Socialist Edward Bellamy worked
with Blavatsky, she and the Theosophical Society used a swastika symbol.
Thus the swastika's association with socialism began in the USA three
decades before it was used in Germany by the National Socialist German
Workers' Party.
http://rexcurry.net/book1a1contents-pledge.html

Before and after Bellamy's book, Blavatsky continued to promote socialism in
Germany, India and worldwide. At the time this was written, the Theosophical
Society of America (TSA) continued to maintain its Springfield Branch office
at the Edward Bellamy House, 93 Church Street, Chicopee, MA and also its
library.
http://rexcurry.net/theosophy-madame-blavatsky-theosophical-society.html

The version of the swastika symbol adopted by German socialists is the same
swastika used in Blavatsky's symbolic brooch.

That utopian socialism is consistent with the Bellamy dogma and with the
totalitarian societies of the socialist Wholecaust (of which the Holocaust
was a part): ~60 million slaughtered under the Union of Soviet Socialist
Republics; ~50 million under the Peoples' Republic of China; ~20 million
under the National Socialist German Workers Party. In 1939, the National
Socialist German Workers Party joined as allies with the Union of Soviet
Socialist Republics to invade Poland in a pact to divide up Europe,
spreading WWII. Even after German socialism was defeated, Soviet socialists
continued to pursue their part of the pact they had made with German
socialists. Socialists in the USSR and in China went on to kill even more
millions of people.

Scouts used the swastika as a symbol. It acquired the alphabetic symbolism
of "Scout Submission" and the concept of self-sacrifice (even the ultimate
self-sacrifice) because it represented a cross. It is important to note that
the Nazis did not call their symbols a "swastika," but called it a
"Hakenkreuz," which means "hooked cross."
http://rexcurry.net/pledge-of-allegiance-scouting.html

Scouts submission badge

Scouting sacrifice thanks
http://rexcurry.net/scouts-swastika-thanks-badge-scouting.gif Scouting

Below is a somewhat ominous peice that pre-dates the National Socialist
German Workers' Party, Baden-Powell gives an etymological meaning to the
swastika that is different from the popular modern idea that it means "well
being" or "good luck." According to Baden-Powell's first comments, the
swastika meant "Obedience or Submission, the different arms of the cross
being in reality legs in the attitude of kneeling." Thus, Baden-Powell also
recognizes the swastika as a type of cross with religious significance.
Baden-Powell also references Norsemen, Greeks, and myths about Atlantis.

"The Swastika" From Baden-Powell, What Scouts Can Do: More Yarns, 1921

On the stole of an ancient bishop of Winchester, Edyndon, who died in 1366,
is the Swastika or Scouts' Thanks Badge. It was at that time called the
"Fylfot," and was said to represent Obedience or Submission, the different
arms of the cross being in reality legs in the attitude of kneeling.

But as you know from the account of the Swastika Thanks Badge which I have
given you in Scouting for Boys, this symbol was used in almost every part of
the world in ancient days, and therefore has various meanings given to it.

It has been found engraved on weapons belonging to the Norsemen. It was also
engraved on the spindles used by the ancient Greeks in their- weaving at
Troy.

In India rice is spread on the ground in the form of the Swastika at the
baptism of a baby boy to bring him luck.

The Indians in North America use it as an ornament, and it has been found
engraved on ancient pottery in Peru.

How it got from one country to another, separated as they are by oceans, it
is difficult to guess, but some people who say they know all about these
things, affirm that there was once a great continent where now there is the
Atlantic Ocean, but it went under the sea in an earthquake.

This continent was called Atlantis, and joined up Europe with America.

It was supposed to have four vast rivers running from a central mountain in
different directions-North, East, South, and West-and the Swastika is merely
a map of Atlantis showing those four rivers rising from the same center.

Noted by who? I was intrigued by this bit of puff and tried digging

same semi literate redtop style. I haven't been able to find any peer

The merkins used a raised arm, palm forward salute to their flag, from a
position over the heart, fir use by civilians

The merkin that suggested this was a "socialist"

The German "national socialist" party ( that wasn't socialist under the
normal accepted meaning of the term) used a raised arm, palm down salute
for both civilian and military use, copied from the Italian movement,
both of these salutes didn't include the heart covering position.

Curry's arguement then seems to be :-

Merkin's had the salute first, the Italians and Germans copied it
therefore socialism in the US is bad!

There doesn't seem to be any proof of this theory of copying, and I
leave the reader to decide if socialism is bad or not, whether in the US
or anywhere else.

The one thing that does seem to be certain is that nothing in any of
Curry's overblown prose that is "amazing" apart from the fact that he
thinks anyone is interested!

even understand the topic. He probably just evades to cover up his ignorance
and the fact that he knows the information is correct and is too humiliated
to admit it. Marc is not even capable of doing research on the web.
However, he concedes that he can find no one dispute of Dr. Rex Curry's
work.
" he concedes that he can find no one dispute of Dr. Rex Curry's work."

Odd isn't it how those that sling aroun terms such as semi-literate can
manage to garble language?

By the way where did "Dr" Curry qualify?

Probably an Indian university.

marc initial.surname @ btinternet.com is so semi-literate that he

The merkins used a raised arm, palm forward salute to their flag, from a
position over the heart, fir use by civilians
Marc is so dense he still is pretending he does not understand that
the
early salute to the Pledge in the USA began with a military salute
that then
extended out toward the flag, stiff-armed with the palm down. Marc is
even
blind in that he cannot research any actual photographs or see them.

The German "national socialist" party ( that wasn't socialist under the
normal accepted meaning of the term) used a raised arm, palm down salute
for both civilian and military use, copied from the Italian movement, both
of these salutes didn't include the heart covering position.
Wow, Marc is dense. And he is trying to rehabilitate socialism. He is
still
repeating myths for which he can provide no support, he just repeats
stuff
from other like lamebrains on the web. Also, He has no idea when or
where
the heart position came from, but just throws it around to cover his
ignorance of the topic.
Post by marc
Merkin's had the salute first, the Italians and Germans copied it
therefore socialism in the US is bad!
Wow. Marc is dense. Has no understanding of the socialist dogma of
Edward
Bellamy, Francis Bellamy, and their movements in the USA from 1888.
Marc
just pretends it is just about a magical "salute." That must be what
he
thinks about the German Socialists - He thinks they just had an evil
salute.
Post by marc
There doesn't seem to be any proof of this theory of copying, and I leave
the reader to decide if socialism is bad or not, whether in the US or
anywhere else.
What a cop-out lie. Marc, everyone knows what you think. You are only
fooling yourself. grow up.

The one thing that does seem to be certain is that nothing in any of
Curry's overblown prose that is "amazing" apart from the fact that he
thinks anyone is interested!
It is amazing because not only do you NOT dispute a word of it, you
don't
even understand the topics (but really you are just pretending not to
get
it, because everyone knows from your evasions that you do find it
amazing
and you are too humiliated to admit it).

taunting boobs like "them." So far, Ttransformers has been Rainsbury's
favourite film of the year. He explains that it is because he is able to
regress to his childhood. Everyone already knew that about him :-)
I haven't seen that on is it like Transformers, because that was good.

As for taunting boobs that's something I haven't tried yet but it sounds
like it could be fun.

Dr. Rex Curry is the historian who is famous for his discovery that the USA's Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag (by the American socialist Francis Bellamy) was the origin of the Nazi salute and Nazi behavior (under German socialism during Hitler's reign), as well as the origin of the same behavior under Italian socialism with Benito Mussolini and Gabrielle D'Annunzio (and also under Mussolini's later socialist tweaking: aka Focialism).
https://tinnyray.wordpress.com/2015/10/11/dr-rex-curry-the-historian-debunks-mussolinis-focialism-and-the-bellamy-salute-in-pledge-of-allegiance/

Mussolini learned the American stiff-armed salute when he was a socialist, and he learned of it from the socialist Gabrielle D'Annunzio, who learned it from old early movies that utilized the widespread use of the gesture in the United States' Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag (the practice had been occurring for about three decades in the U.S. -from 1892).

A web search for "Gabriele d'Annunzio was also a socialist" (or in Italian "Gabriele d'Annunzio fu anche socialista") reveals his socialist history (Don't bother with Wakipedia, as it will never tell readers that Gabriele d'Annunzio was a socialist. Wikipedia does not want anyone to know. The rest of the web reveals what wakipedia hides). Few know that the poet was deputy of the Socialist Party, and even a candidate in 1900. He set up the short-lived Italian Regency of Carnaro in Fiume with himself as Duce. D'Annunzio's socialist ideals emerged in Fiume when he coauthored a constitution. The constitution established a socialist state with nine sectors of collectivization to represent the different sectors of the economy (workers, employers, professionals), and a tenth (D'Annunzio's invention) to represent the "superior" human beings (heroes, poets, prophets, supermen). It established a Technical Council of Labour. The Carta also declared that music was the fundamental principle of the state.

https://minarchist.wordpress.com/2015/10/11/dr-rex-curry-debunks-fascist-spectacle-by-simonetta-falasca-zamponi-re-bellamy-salute-focialism/

Mussolini was inspired by D'Annunzio's socialist sectors. As Mussolini began his fascitization of socialism, he also adopted the American stiff-armed salute. On January 31, 1923, the Ministry of Education instituted a ritual honoring the flag in schools using the Roman salute (Fascist Spectacle: The Aesthetics of Power in Mussolini's Italy by Simonetta Falasca-Zamponi (2000), p. 110). The book "Fascist Spectacle" contains a photograph with this notation: "Figure 15. Schoolchildren saluting the flag ("The Promise to the Fatherland," by Stagnoli)." That is Stefano Stagnoli. The author Falasca-Zamponi appears to be unaware of the use of the gesture in the U.S. from 1892, and the author appears to be unaware of the discovery by the historian Dr. Rex Curry that the USA's Pledge of Allegiance was the origin of the salute/gesture along with the ritual chanting to the nation's flag (from 1892). The book appears to be available online at http://s1.downloadmienphi.net/file/downloadfile4/270/1393937.pdf
https://www.yumpu.com/en/document/view/16367725/fascist-spectaclepdf/67

Achille Starace, the Italian Fascist Party secretary, pushed for measures to make the use of the Roman salute generally compulsory, denouncing hand shaking as "bourgeois" (using stereotypically socialist language).

The following is an open letter to the author mentioned above.

Was the USA's Pledge of Allegiance the origin of the stiff-armed "Fascist" salute/gesture? I read your book and you do not appear to be aware of the discovery by the historian Dr. Rex Curry that the USA's Pledge of Allegiance was the origin of the salute/gesture along with the ritual chanting to the nation's flag (from 1892). Were you even aware of USA's use of the gesture from 1892?

Thank you.
